Refund policy
At Hemmlock, we take pride in our products and want you to have a smooth shopping experience. If something doesn’t work out, here’s how returns and exchanges are handled.
Return Policy
Eligibility:
Returns are accepted within 10 days of delivery for orders placed outside sale periods.
Product Condition:
- Items must be unused, unwashed, and in their original condition with all original tags attached.
- Products showing signs of use, washing, damage, or spoilage will not be accepted unless they arrived damaged.
Return Refusal:
Hemmlock reserves the right to decline returns if products fail quality checks upon inspection.
Defective or Damaged Products:
If you receive a defective or damaged item, please share an unboxing video and clear photos via email or our customer support number. Our Customer Experience Team will review and assist you accordingly.
Return Charges & Refunds
Return Fee:
- A reverse pickup fee of ₹100 will be deducted per order, regardless of the number of items.
- Shipping charges are non-refundable for both COD and prepaid orders.
Refund Timeline & Method:
- Refunds are processed within 10 working days after the returned item reaches our warehouse and passes inspection.
- Refunds are issued via bank transfer or UPI for both COD and prepaid orders.
Exchange Policy
Eligibility:
Exchanges are accepted within 10 days of delivery for orders placed outside sale or flash sale periods.
Exchange Charges:
A ₹100 reverse shipment fee applies only to COD orders.
Price Difference Handling:
- If the replacement item costs more, the difference must be paid upfront via prepaid method.
- If it costs less, the remaining amount will be refunded via bank transfer or UPI.
Product Availability:
If the requested exchange item is unavailable, the order amount can be used to place a new order.
Return & Exchange Process
- Raise a request with our Customer Support Team.
- Requests are reviewed and approved within 48 hours.
- Reverse pickup is arranged after confirmation.
- Items must be packed exactly as received.
- Refunds are processed after quality checks.
Order Cancellation
Orders can be cancelled only if they have not been dispatched from our warehouse. Items purchased during sale or flash sale events cannot be exchanged.
Exchange & Refund Conditions
Covered Issues (Manufacturing Defects):
- Loose seams or stitching
- Fabric discoloration or fading
- Uneven dye application
- Excessive pilling or fuzzing
- Any visible defect affecting appearance or usability
Not Covered:
- Damage due to improper washing or care
- Normal wear and tear
- Any alterations after delivery
- Accidental damage, misuse, or neglect
- Fabric damage caused by harsh chemicals or environmental exposure
